Our Approach

Our training and behavior programs at the White Mountain College for Pets are based on well tested scientific principles and theories. While many others are using "off the cuff" techniques that may work for some pets, we stay true to time tested, science based training principles and theories that work for all pets.

Reinforcement based training is the most effective way to teach new skills and build a desire in the animal to want to learn more.
Fostering this desire to learn is integral to our methods.

We are experienced, certified trainers and possess a strong desire to share our knowledge and help you reach your training goals.

Mike Robertson, CDBC

Mike is a professional animal trainer and behavior consultant certified by the International Association of Canine Professionals,International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants,and Association of Animal Behavior Prefessionals. Certified Mentor Trainer for the Animal Behavior College, A.K.C. C.G.C. Evaluator, Certified Pet Food Advisor, State and Federal licensed wildlife rehabilitator and a Certified Service Dog Evaluator for the FSDS.
Mike serves on the selection committee of the Foundation for Service Dog Support, as well as providing behavior support for a number of New England dog and cat rescue organizations.

He holds Diploma's in both Feline and Canine Behavior Science and Technlogy.

In 2010, Mike began assisting Baker Valley Mobile Veterinary Services. Together, they offer clients effective and professional behavior solutions and training programs.
